Intercontinental Aqaba, An Ihg Hotel, Aqaba

I had a stunning view of the attractive hotel pool complex, its private beach, the rest of the bay, the town & a backdrop of very impressive mountains from my room. However, some aspects of the room, like the wall sockets not compatible with square pin plugs and the absence of bedside sockets for charging phones without unplugging lights, showed signs of aging. The access to private club facilities was a nice touch.

The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with access to private club facilities, although some areas appear slightly outdated. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The location is convenient, with easy access to the pool area and beach, though more activities could enhance the experience. The dining options provide a vast selection of international and authentic food, creating a delightful culinary experience. Overall, a pleasant stay with great value for money.
